Metso Causticizing Analyzer

The Metso Causticizing Analyzer (Metso Alkali) is an automatic titrator system that provides accurate and repeatable analysis of green, causticized and white liquor for optimizing alkali dosage to the digester. The Metso Alkali measures the absolute values of Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Sulfide, and Sodium Carbonate, and calculates Effective Alkali (EA), Active Alkali (AA), Total Titratable Alkali (TTA), Causticizing Degree (CE%), and Sulfidity (S%).

Measurements are based on the standard SCAN 30:85 titration.

The user-friendly analyzer display shows the latest results as well as archived measurements and trend results. Unlike other alkali analyzer systems, the Metso Alkali doesn’t require any optics or sensor removal, cleaning or calibration.

The entire system can be supplied in a walk-in cabinet suitable for installation in harsh environments.
