Main features
Compared to conventional tissue machines which press the water from the sheet onto a Yankee cylinder, the TAD technology removes water by pulling high temperature air through the sheet. The significantly reduced pressing load helps maintain the thickness of the sheet producing a higher loft, more textured web.

High drying rates inherent in the "through air" process make it possible to produce a wide range of basis weights at high machine speeds. Produce multi-ply products or reduce the number of plies and increase production rate and capital efficiency.
