New orders and net sales at a record high level in 2011

We achieved an all-time high order intake,
demonstrating the deep relationship we have
with our customers.

Where is Antofagasta?

We serve customers also in the port city
of Antofagasta in northern Chile.


Although situated by the sea, Antofagasta is in the Atacama Desert, the driest desert in the world. The area is an important source of copper and features the world's largest open pit copper mine at Chuquicamata. Read more in Global presence.
