Outokumpu Technology to deliver a new copper-zinc concentrator to Kazakhstan

Outokumpu Technology has entered into a significant contract with
Aktyubinsk Copper Company, an affiliated company to Russian Copper
Company, to design and deliver a new copper-zinc concentrator for
"Green Mountain 2" project in Kazakhstan. The total contract value
exceeds EUR 30 million.

Outokumpu Technology's scope of supply covers the basic design,
supply of all process equipment and supervision services. Once
operational in early 2008 the concentrator will treat 2 million
tonnes of ore per year.

This new project is Outokumpu Technology's second large concentrator
delivery to Kazakhstan for Russian Copper Company. The 2.5 million
tonnes "Green Mountain 1" copper concentrator, ordered by Russian
Copper Company in 2004, is currently under commissioning.
