Amicable settlement in Pattison Sand project

Outotec and Pattison Sand Company have reached an amicable settlement in all disputes related to the Pattison Sand project. There will be a one-time positive effect of approximately USD 3.6 million (approximately EUR 2.7 million) to Outotec's second quarter 2009 result.

In August 2006, Outotec announced a contract with Pattison Sand Company for the delivery of a fracturing sand plant to Iowa, USA. The contract price was approximately EUR 14 million.
