Outotec awarded a contract for iron ore beneficiation plant in Iran
Outotec has been awarded a contract by Iran International Engineering Company (IRITEC) for the delivery of process technology to Khorasan Steel Complex Co's new iron ore beneficiation plant in Iran. Outotec's contract value is EUR 45 million, of which approximately EUR 10 million will be booked in the third quarter 2015 order intake.
Outotec's scope of delivery includes a complete beneficiation plant and an entire value chain from raw material testing, process development to concentration and dewatering. In addition, Outotec will also be responsible for basic engineering, and supply of key process equipment, as well as advisory services for detail engineering, construction and commissioning. The annual capacity of the beneficiation plant will be 2.5 million tonnes of pellet feed grade iron ore concentrate. The plant is expected to be commissioned in 2017.

Outotec has fulfilled all current export and legal regulations and is complying fully with them. In anticipation of possible future changes in the regulatory framework, the order will be booked in Outotec's order backlog gradually during 2015-2017 according to cash inflow.
