Why solution purification process is needed

The presence of impurity metal ions would degrade the product quality and greatly decrease the efficiency of the electrowinning process, increasing the production cost. In some cases, the existence of impurity metal ions even threatens the production safety. Therefore, the impurities remaining after leaching must be purified to certain ranges before electrowinning
