Larox® Pinch Valve
Larox® Pinch Valves are designed for demanding process conditions, improving system control while offering lower operation and maintenance costs due to an extended lifetime and fast sleeve change system.
Benefits
- Easier sleeve change
- Heavy-duty design
- Longer sleeve wear life
- Increased sleeve material options
Knife Gate Valves
The Metso SH-KGV valve is a full bore valve suitable for the most abrasive and demanding slurries with strong operational reliability.
Some of the main applications for the mining industry include:
- Grinding circuits
- Dewatering: Thickeners & Filters
- Tailings
- Cyclones
- Paste
- Concentrate pipelines
- Hydrometallurgy
- Transmitter isolation
This bi-directional valve ensures 100% sealing within any given pressure. In open position, the valve seats form a tight extension of the pipeline causing absolutely no leakage onto the metal parts. When the valve is closed, the seats are displaced axially creating a reliable seal with the gate until it forms a complete closure.

Ceramic chunk valve
The Metso ceramic chunk valve is the only valve capable of effectively controlling cyclone underflow.
Some of the main applications for the mining industry include:
- All mineral processing concentrators using grinding mills and cyclones
- Copper/Gold especially using flash flotation cells
- Where more than one ball mill is used and splitting flow accurately is required to optimize the performance of each ball mill
- Gravity concentrator feed
The chunk valve handles extreme circuit flow and provides reliable control of abrasive slurries, powders, and liquids. The long wear life of ceramic reduces wear and tear, meaning fewer replacements saving costs.
Dart valve
Dart valves are primarily designed for flow control within open-topped slurry tanks, cells, channels or splitter boxes.
Metso dart valves deliver precise flow control in flotation cells, optimizing slurry levels and ensuring stable performance in mining and mineral processing operations. It enhances flotation efficiency, reduces downtime, and lowers operational costs.
Its advanced polymer construction provides exceptional resistance to wear and corrosion, making it ideal for harsh environments.
The valve features a self-cleaning design to minimize blockages, a compact and modular structure for easy installation and maintenance, and options for pneumatic or electric actuation.

Duckbill check valve
Provides a reliable, maintenance-free flow control for abrasive and corrosive slurries. Ideal for a variety of applications, including slurry discharge systems, tailings disposal, and wastewater treatment. This robust design ensures long-lasting performance with minimal operational costs.
The flexible, one-piece rubber or polymer construction ensures durability and resistance to wear, while the self-sealing, duckbill design prevents backflow without the need for mechanical components.
This non-mechanical valve allows for unrestricted, full-bore flow, minimizing pressure drops and energy consumption.
