In addition to increasing filter capacity and availability, this innovative new system enables more efficient cleaning and helps maintain plate permeability over a longer period of time. It also improves health and safety, as well as the environmental performance of your process.

CC Acid Recycling

  • Circulates the acid solution used for ceramic plate cleaning via a separate acid station with storage tanks
  • The fully automated station controls the acid solution concentration and the washing stages for each filter
  • The used acid solution is recycled back to the storage tank, and the same solution can be used several times

The Metso acid recycling system can be installed in approximately four weeks, with production downtime of four days at most. The scope includes:
