The WTS use a multi-stage approach combining centrifugal separation and self-cleaning filtration:

• Centrifugal Separation: Water undergoes centrifugal forces, causing denser particles to settle along the separator walls, allowing clean water to flow through the center upstream.
• Self-Cleaning Filtration: Water then passes through a screen with certain microns openings that capture fine particles and impurities.
• Automated Cleaning: Mechanisms like backwashing and scraping remove accumulated solids from the screen, ensuring continuous performance.
