Robust pumps for many applications
X Series horizontal slurry pumps are extra heavy-duty and designed especially the most demanding pumping applications in mind.
- Flow rates to 10 000 m³/h – 44 000 USGPM
- Heads up to 75 m - 250 ft
Typical applications
- Mining and mineral processing
- Extra heavy duty highly abrasive slurries
- Hydrocyclone feed
- Mine refuse and tailings
- Industrial processing
- Mill discharge
- Sand and gravel
- Medium duty abrasive slurries
- In plant slurry transfer pumps
Hard metal lining or rubber lining
X Series horizontal slurry pumps are durable pumping equipment made to handle large amounts of material that can contain solids with excellent performance and low maintenance costs.
The heavy-duty design and robust construction combined with the highest quality of abrasion resistant wear materials enable long service life and trouble-free operation also in the toughest applications.
The series consists of two ranges, XM pumps with hard metal lining, and rubber lined XR pumps.
Features and options
X Series pumps have a primary hydro-dynamic expeller sealing the gland dry when the pump is running. A secondary grease lubricated packed gland seal prevents leakage when the pump is not running.
Flushed gland seals are available and can be supplied as either a “full flow” or “low flow” gland seal. Various mechanical seals are also offered.
The standard impeller material is High Chrome white iron alloy with a nominal hardness of 600 BHN. The standard rubber liner material is natural rubber. Other materials are available upon request.
Optional slide base
The maintenance slide base can reduce the time required for replacing the wear parts by up to 50%.
Maintenance slide base options are available for inlet sizes up to 400 mm (16'').
