During the 1970’s Metso developed and patented a magnetic lining system with unique properties, Orebed®. Over 40 years experience of designing magnetic linings makes it possible for us to offer optimized solutions.

No bolts required

The Orebed magnetic liner system consists of a series of powerful permanent magnets embedded within a matrix of highly abrasion-resistant rubber. Magnetic force ensures that the liner attracts the ferromagnetic material in the mill load, forming a continuous, self renewing wear layer with a wave profile.

Installation and reline
