We offer traineeship opportunities for various roles throughout the Metso locations, and most of the positions are open during the summertime. As a Metso summer trainee, you'll be part of a supportive and open atmosphere, and your colleagues will mentor you on your growth journey. During the summer traineeship, you'll collaborate and work alongside devoted individuals and take on responsibility early on. By joining Metso, you can apply the knowledge from your studies in practice, increase your understanding of the business, and develop new skills while building a professional network. The summer job application period is usually open between January to March.
We offer students and graduates hundreds of trainee opportunities each year for different trainee positions. The traineeships range from a couple of weeks to several months. As a Metso trainee, you have the opportunity to work with challenging and interesting tasks, with skilled colleagues, in an international environment.

Working with your final thesis or diploma work in cooperation with us gives you an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insight and experience before finishing your studies. You will get to explore your thesis topic in practice, work in a multinational environment, build your professional network – and possibly, take the first step towards a career at Metso. We have opportunities for students on both a bachelor and master level, in various fields.
